Event Details
On January 31st, the Blockchaingers and the Dutch National Police host the Public Safety and Security Deep Dive at the National Police Headquarters in The Hague. During this Deep Dive, the blockchain ecosystem will be kickstarting blockchain applications designed to increase public safety. Will you contribute to public safety by helping to redesign it with blockchain technology?
Public Safety and Security
Blockchain technology has a huge potential in tackling all kinds of Public Safety and Security issues. Issues like tracking fraud, corruption, and other criminal activity as well as providing a transparent proof of evidence throughout the justice system and all its players.
Blockchain offers new opportunities to design public safety and security in a more effective way by reducing bureaucracy and costs. However, it also offers challenges with regards to privacy concerns that need to be taken into account. Teams within the Public Safety and Security Track should adequately incorporate opportunities afforded by blockchain technology as well as challenges posed by privacy into their blockchain solutions
