What you’ll do?

• Design, develop, and maintain REXX programs and scripts to automate tasks and processes in mainframe environments.
• Collaborate with the software development team to integrate REXX scripts with other systems and applications.
• Analyze and understand business requirements to translate them into efficient REXX solutions.
• Conduct thorough testing of REXX scripts to ensure correct functionality and optimal performance.
• Identify and fix errors or issues in REXX scripts, ensuring application stability and reliability.
• Properly document developed REXX code and keep technical documentation up to date.
• Stay informed about best practices and trends in REXX development to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
• Work with the operations team to implement and deploy REXX scripts into production.
• Provide technical support and resolve issues related to REXX scripts in production.
• Meet established deadlines and maintain clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
