IMC is looking for a Senior Workday HRIS Specialist to join our Workday team and play a key role in optimizing our HR processes. Joining a global team of Workday specialists’ you will work closely with key HR stakeholders and have the responsibility for ensuring Workday is optimally configured to support our HR processes. Using your in-depth knowledge of Workday business processes and security, along with knowhow of key modules such as HCM, Compensation and Reporting you will ensure we are making the most of available system functionality, and make processes as efficient as possible.

IMC has long been a full suite user of Workday to support our HR, Procurement and Finance processes. This role will give you the opportunity to learn from the best Workday minds out there, learn about new Workday modules, be involved with Workday design groups and fast follower programs, and shape the HR systems for the future.

Your Core Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Amsterdam global team, you will co-own the HRIS suite of tools used within IMC
• You will work closely with our key HR stakeholders situated in Amsterdam, London, Chicago, Sydney and India to gain a deep understanding of our HR processes
• You will configure Workday HCM process to meet the needs of our teams, and make suggestions on how configurations can be further improved
• You will coach key stakeholders such as HR generalists to make optimal use of the HR systems
• You will look to make Workday processes as efficient and automated as possible
• You will review available and new functionality of Workday to check we are making the best use of all functionality
• You will configure Workday to allow it to optimally support the future growth of IMC and our HR teams

Your Skills and Experience:

• In depth 6+ years’ experience with the workday platform and the Workday HCM module
• In depth knowledge of the Workday HCM Core, business process framework, reporting and security model
• Experience with at least one of the other HR related Workday module used within IMC (Absence, Compensation, Extend)
• Experience working with key users of systems and developing new processes based on requirements, and suggesting improvements
• Thirst for learning about HR technology innovations and systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to translate business problems into technological solutions
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience working within agile teams is a plus
• Self-driven and always looking to redefine the status quo
• Experience of other HR engagement and performance management tools as bonus, as is experience of mentoring junior team members
