Job description:

1. Providing legal support to the Hong Kong business team on matters of employment, marketing, business compliance, data protection, intellectual property , and/or dispute settlement.
2. Identifying and advising legal, commercial, and compliance risks on daily business operation.
3. Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and legal documents, including leases, licenses, construction and design agreements, general contractor agreements, online terms and conditions, privacy policies, advertising contracts, service agreements, social media, celebrity, photographers & models agreements, partnership agreements, vendor agreements and other types of operational documents.
4. Developing and updating contract templates concerning the business operation and ensuring all business lines and areas are supported.
5. Partnering with the business team, financial team, human resource team , and compliance team to ensure compliance with the laws of Hong Kong.
6. Providing legal support on regulatory and other compliance matters including researching laws and legislation in different jurisdictions and legal and regulatory developments in Hong Kong and other jurisdictions.
7. Serve as liaison with external law firms and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in law with a common law education background.
• A minimum of 5 years of corporate and transactional experience gained in the in-house legal department or international law firms, in-house experience is a must.
• Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail with strong analytical and drafting abilities.
• A qualified lawyer in Hong Kong with English and Chinese proficiency.
